Based on a placement exam students are divided into the following four language levels: Beginners, Intermediate, Upper intermediate and Advanced .for each levels there are goals to be achieved with regard to each language skill .
The mainstream program is 16 hours per week . A number of universities have chosen to arrange courses for their learners. Thus, the centre also provides University students with the opportunity to attend courses offered by the university and thus giving the learners the chance to attend classes with their Egyptian colleagues.
A new addition offered is one-on-one courses in the subject area the language learner chooses to study on an individual basis. This is an excellent opportunity that adds a broader sense to learning language and culture in Alexandria. These courses vary and include among other courses, Egyptology, Middle East Politics, Women and Gender Studies and Literature.
