Beginner: Starting with the Alphabet.

Lower Intermediate: Have been exposed to the rudimentaries of the language and ready to assimilate simple structures. Can read and understand simple excerpts of texts and express themselves as curtly as possible.

Upper Intermediate: Can develop the lower Int. skills and elaborate their vocabulary items into more complicated structures. Can express themselves in fairly reasonable compounds.

Advanced: Can read and understand more sophisticated texts and learn about linguistic problems and textual difficulties. Can readily express themselves orally and writing.
