Chairman of the Board of TAFL, Professor of linguistics and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University. He extends enormous support to TAFL and facilitates interaction between the TAFL students and the Alexandria University. He puts all its facilities and intercurricular activities at TAFL’s disposal.

    Dr . Rasha el Hawari

Director of the TAFL, an Applied linguist. She teaches linguistics and translation and has extensive experiences in language program evaluation, and testing. Her target is fulfilling the mission of the TAFL centre in spreading the Arabic Language and culture as well as offering an excellent experience for learners studying Arabic at the centre.

    Mrs. Magda Abou Youssef

Resident Director of British Universities’ programmes at TAFL centre , since its inception in 1985. Mrs. Magda Abou Youssef’s extensive experience in the field of Language teaching as well as her managerial skills have enriched and enlightened the programme ever since.

   Dr. Nihad Holiel

Resident Director of the C.V. starr-Middlebury School in the Middle East. Nehad obtained her Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics and Translation from Alexandria University. Her acadamic interests focus on Sociolinguistics and Arabic Dialectology, as well as literary and religious translation
