Cairo, home of the Pyramids, is 2 hours away by train. Siwa Oasis is also a major attraction with its springs, virgin land, monuments and wildlife.

·        For those who enjoy diving and water sports, the red sea area has some of the world's most attractive underwater reefs. Plane, coach and train  services run regularly between Alexandria and other Egyptian cities.
